The Meishan was imported from China are slow growing and fat, but have a very good taste. They are considered to be resistant to some diseases and are highly prolific. The Livestock Conservancy has declared them as critically endangered.

We purchased our first registered pair of Meishans and joined the AMBA in 2017. Our goal is to provide breeding pairs to other farmers in order to save the breed from extinction. We are also exploring the option to provide meat to the public.
